Hi, I came to this site via Google. I've been a DISH subscriber for about 10 years in 2 locations. If I've had any problems I let their techs take care of it. But recently I have been having some problems and have decided to become more hands on. The issue is this. I have a DISH 500 pointed at 110 and 119. Over the past year I've been getting increasing signal outages on odd numbered transponders of 110. 3 does not show at all on the meter. The others, particularly lower numbered ones degrade throughout the day. They drop below lock strength in the afternoon and generally return after sunset. As some transponders show strong (over 100) reception I'm thinking this is some sort of failure in the LNBF , possibly heat related as I have been in Florida after moving from NY for the past few years. I've order a replacement but I'd be glad to have the benefit of the experience of the members of this forum. - Thanks
