New York Nets going to spot beam?

I just noticed on channel 243 there is a message 'moving to chan 2' and similar messages on the other Nyk channels.

Sounds ominous, does this mean they will be moving to a spot beam soon?

So far it just means they are leaving the 240s. There are similar messages on the Los Angeles nets.

The numbers are the mapped down channel numbers in the NY dma. The channels just will not be mirrored there any longer. The message does not show at 6300 or 8100 (the normal HD and sd locations.)

it says to tune to either the 8000 area or the "normal" numbers (2,4,etc)
