I just left D for E! Does anyone know which HD DVR model I will receive? My installation is tomorrow morning. Also is there any plans on E launching a new satellite soon like D is planning?

It should be a new 922 seeing you are a Directv convert,NOT

You will get whatever they have in the warehouse. It could be a new or reconditioned 722 or 722K. DISH retains ownership so you get what they have.

It's difficult to say for sure what receiver you will get. It depends on what the local installer has on hand. Many reports of the 722K lately.

E just launched a new sat a this month (Sept), will be going on line in the next few weeks.

My order was for 1 HD DVR and 1 SD DVR. The email conformation is:

1 Enhanced HD DuoDVR, 2-way Remote Receiver

Is this for 2 dvr's? I don't want to share dvr space with the bedroom sd dvr.

One DVR that serves two rooms, the second being SD through coax output. Can always be used in single mode...primary TV.

I think you better get on the phone right away, or else they're only going to install one receiver. (It helps to have at least 3 TVs to get what you want.)

I called and they transfered me to customer loyalty and I got a second hd receiver, but it was not easy! Whew!

Install scheduled for 12-5 and installer is already here at 9:45am. Way to go Dish!
