Current config:

Dishpro Plus Twin LNB
No HD
tv1 - dish 625 dual mode
tv2 - (remote of above)
tv3 - dish 301

Wanted config:

No HD (hopefully later)
tv1 - dish 625 single mode2
tv2 - used dish 311 receiver that I own
tv3 - no change - dish 301

So I'm thinking I need a 3x4 multiswitch to do this?

Be gentle :)

If you are planning on getting HD in the future, Then don't wast your money on aswitch- Get a new dish. Get a "dish 1000.2". There is 3 outputs on the lnb. 1 to your 625 (with seperator) 2nd port to your 311 and the 3rd will be for your HD receiver when you get it. If you buy a switch now, You will still have to buy a HD Dish or add a second dish for HD. The dish 1000.2's look at 119-110-129 satellites.
But if you want a switch, The 3x4 switch you mentioned is calles a 34 switch (3 satellites to 4 receivers) But keep in mind you can not use a seperator with your 625 and you will have to run another line directly to the 625 for a total of 2 cables to the 625. If you had the dish 1000.2 you need only 1 cable to the 625 and can use a seperator. So for the long run, forget about the switch and get a dish 1000.2.
