next round of new hd channels

Does anyone know if there are any new channels schedueled to come out anytime soon. I heard they are launching a new satellite? any info would be awesome!

Well that satellite isn't going up untill atleast March. But there are a few channels still in the works i'm sure . Travel HD has ben talked about,Plus more local HD channels. Even with the new satellite launch 'I wouldn't expect a huge channel launch like we had last september. More like few at a time,here and there.

The sat. launch is still on schedule for March. This sat will open more space for local hd. Some say for more national hd also. Will not be many big waves like there was in September, more like little drips. Direct should not have a problem with capacity anytime soon.

I have heard sometime this year. You can bet this channel will be on Direct.

I believe Scott saw this channel testing in the last Cutting Edge Software. Should be one of the next hd channels to go live.

Even more of a waste than in SD.

also we have more HBOs coming, and some Disney/Nick type stuff.

I think Sleuth is announced for this spring too.

D11 satellite is supposed to hold another 50 national HD channel capacity and bring the total to 150. Their locals capacity will become 1500 HD.
