The sneek peeks that D* and NGC have been running on channel 98, theres one on now.
Are they suppose to be mpeg2 or 4 ?

It would be nice to be able to actually get some mpeg4 programming on this year old set up, before everything is suppose to go live, just to make sure it all works.

i was under the impression that the hd locals for those that have them thru D* are mpeg4 save for maybe the ny and la feeds.

Dunno, all i do know is it wont let me see them, Says 721, channel not purchased, when i have the reg ng channel i can watch. and i have the hd pack.

I would have to take a guess that National Geographic is being sent in MPEG2.

LyngSat also lists this channel as being broadcast from the 110 orbital position.

I'll agree with that. I only have my 3lnb hooked up and I watched one of those sneek peeks the other night.
