Charlie has probably no issue at all for FNC. As long as the increase was reasonable, he'd sign it. The problem is this isn't about FNC or FNBC. This is about FXX, FS1 and FS2 which aren't part of the contract.
How about you tell your favored network to stop using you as a pawn and allow FNC to no longer be held hostage in order to get increased rates for rebranded channels that have nothing to do with the FNC contract?

Meh.... I say Charlie should dig in and do his best to keep prices down for his entire sub base. These contract negotiations/pulled channels are regular issues, in the battle between the networks and the service providers. Fact of life.
Original thread was closed due to politics, Ergen said in the last Q3 that it is coming down to All carriers would not carry all the Major networks, Surely he is not going to dig in over Fox, would be a very bad move.
No one is ever going to know any news until Dish or Fox make an announcement. If you can't wait then just cancel already and hope that your new provider doesn't go through the same dispute within the next 24 months. You must like Dish to a certain extent to wait it out for now so what's another week or so? What is so absolutely amazing on that channel that you have to be watching?
You basically have two options I would take. Either drop Dish and switch or call Dish to get some discounts and wait it out. Very simple.
