Exactly. This state has banned plastic straws in restaurants and just recently plastic shampoo bottles in hotels. And we have bankrupted our primary electricity provider to the point where they are afraid to leave the power on in the wind.

California is a leader by example -- showing other states how they too can self-destruct.
 
This is all based on a single poorly written email about one specific site. Come on folks, Ham radio is the purview of the FCC and CA has no authority to regulate or control. They want one repeater removed from a public land site or to pay rent for staying, that's all.
