no signal dish network

I Have A Dish In My home -dish network- and it just started saying signal lost and then it will stay like that for a good hour, the other night it stayed like that for 2 hours. i pressed the reset button/power. and it came back it's done this several times. does anyone have an idea what it could be? it does it all the time maybe 3 times a day i've checked all my connections. but none seem to be wrong changed the switch out and the switch outside. is it possible it could be the LNB?

Could be a LNBF. Throughout this forum/sub-forum, there are reports of bad batches of LNBF's, especially some that act up with heat.

Why don't you describe your dish and/or LNBF's and someone may have more info for you.
