does anyone know when ESPN2hd is being fired up, I can wait for the voom channels, I was just wondering how long before espn2hd is up? thanks guys and sorry if this has been asked, I have been away for a while

No date yet.. Being that last wed. was the day before turkey day... We could possably see it pop up this wed. But remember that nothing is guarenteed. Stay tooned as if we find out anything you will be the first to know

While many of our international subs only get AT 60 and internationals, they tend to do more HD than non-international subs. Plus, credit scores seem to be better and less likely to churn, UNLESS their fav. international channel goes away. Again, what is DISH doing? I guess a lot of their contracts are expiring around this time of year or something? Still, they're bringing in inferior channels are replacements. I wouldn't be surprised if the Russian DISH subs get some sort of discount, maybe $5 off, if you keep the new channel in place of the loss of Ch 1.

I'm not sure what they are waiting for. First off, why this channel is only on 129. That greatly limits its viewership and I doubt espn would allow dish to do something like that. By limit I mean there just arent that many d1000s out there and Dish can't just rely on its HD subs being technical enough to either install a 2nd dish or repoint a dish to 129.
Unlike the voom channels which were uplinked as mirrors of the existing voom channels, espn2hd is actually showing espn2hd. They could release it to subs right now!
Any news yet on when DISH is turning on ESPN2HD or the other VOOM channels? I've been checking this thing five times a day for the last week.......
