Notice: Upcoming Style Change

Over the next day or so we will be changing our SatelliteGuys Default style to another one which I think people are going to like.

With that said I know not everyone likes change. So the old styles will still be available and you can select the old style you know and love by heading on over to your user prefrefrences --> https://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/account/preferences <-- and selecting the style you want.

In addition Christmas is coming and that means the "holiday" program will kick in on its own sometime over the next few weeks so it may snow, or you may see Christmas lights. (I never know what its going to do) You can disable this at the same place --> https://www.satelliteguys.us/xen/account/preferences <-- and check the box marked disable holiday styling.

We try having fun and keeping things fresh here but we understand some may not like some of the changes which is why we give you options to see SatelliteGuys the way you want it.

I mostly like it. My big issue is that it isn't respecting default font size in preferences. My old eyes and small tablet say nope

You might have better luck if you ask in a more respectful way.

My wife and I think what Scott did with this new Christmas theme is great. He has put a ton of effort and time into this site and I appreciate it.

As for uploading images in conversations -- I am sure he has a good reason to not do it. It could take a ton of storage space. Also, some images could contain content which is illegal to have on a computer or server. Those images could be quickly detected and removed by a moderator if posted in a public thread, but not if they were in a private conversation.

And if you need to put an image in a conversation, you can upload it to a web site or photo sharing service and put a link to it in the message.

I can only begin to understand the amount of work Scott has been doing. From backing up the site updating it to a new system and now this beautiful holiday design. I am very grateful for Scott and his many years of dedication!
