Odd Looking Fish

This gentleman hooked a ratfish while fishing for halibut. The large eyes are perhaps an adaptation to living at 2500 feet. He said the fish was tasty. Very odd looking. Kind of scary as a matter of fact, hi hi.

Yeah, he said it was tasty but no way I'd eat that fish either. In fact I'd cut the fishing line as soon as it hit the surface. Can't imagine having 2500 feet of monofilm to reel up.
