Old customer coming back.

I used to be a D* customer about a year ago and switched to cable and now I'm coming back. I reset up my dish and hooked up my old recievers. I can't view any preview channels. I think it's my card. It's an HU model card. I heard there are new ones now. Do I have to buy new cards or will directv supply me with new cards? If they charge I may just buy a Tivo unit for $99.

They will not reactivate the HU card. They will ship you out a new card for $25 and you will have to keep the service on for one year.
