Can an old Direct TV dish be used as an OTA antenna for HD? My uncle got one from a rental house and gave it to me. How about an antenna to transmit internet signals from a router?

No. You need a regular aerial antenna for OTA. The DirecTV dish can only be used to receive DirecTV 101 or 119, or Dish Network 61.5, 110, 119, 129, 148.

See ya
Tony
