Old receiver disposal ? 721, 508 and 7100

So, I am clearing out the basement, where I have a 721, a 508 and a 7100.

Am I correct that the current "best" procedure for these is to simply take them to the "e-waste" dump (after removing and destroying the smart cards)?

( And, no I don't have the time to mess with them, no need for 100gb and smaller non-sata hard drives, etc.)

If you have a disposal facility take them in, unless they have purple smart cards don't even worry about the cards.
