does anyone know why they send a di-electric plate with the bsc 421?I am guessing it is for linear sats, but I want to be sure before installing it.I could not open the pdf file at dmsi web site.
The plate is for the circular C-band sats. "Normal" C-band is linear. I think there's a circular sat way east in the arc, but for just about everything else up there, just leave it out.
the install was easy,I put it on a button hook dish, the quality on all the sats jumped up,and the voltage control switching is great. It does just as good as the geosat dual out lnb I bought from sat av,they both are worth the money.
Glad to hear it's doing good! I have LNBF's on both my C-Band dishes, mainly because I don't want to be bothered with servo motors, that get stuck, burn up, or just suddenly crap out! !sadroll Not to mention, in the case of my 10 footer, the 9200HD can switch the polarity by itself, just like my DSR-920 does on the 7.5 footer!
