I seem to be having a problem with Dish On Demand. Some of the shows just come up as black. Some play fine. Is this the start of a bad HDD. Could a section of the HDD be going bad and so won't record in an area.

This could be related to a content provider issue.. do a callout for Dish IRT .. there's a thread about this having happened about a month ago... and it was resolved as due to a content provider corrupting the data (or that's how it reads) ... that thread is over at DishSupport.com ... and there are other threads here at SatGuys with the same issue..
Ya, actually, if you could just let me know what shows in particular. Someone else commented on the same issue recently, and I was trying to figure out if it was from the same programmer, or if it was a certain "section" of the shows.
