Which is the latest and best Firmware upgrades for Openbox S9 HD that can be used in the USA. I downloaded several but thay all show only European sattelites.

you just load an american sat list to the firmware you use.
very few full firmwares are for america.

the 03/21/11 firmware is located in the download part of this website. i have tried other firmware and a lot of them have the american satellites. i have the s9 also and that firmware is the best i have found for ease of use. charlie
mediabox editor studio will also edit the sat list if you import as ali gen nocas type of receiver.
the stbhdeditor program also came with a program to split the .udf file from the tp_prog.dbs for editing.
A merge program was also supplied to merge the .udf back into a .dbs
Mst firmware tool v 0.5 also lets you extract the .udf from a full .abs dump and put it back again.
