Selling my Openbox S9 FTA receiver. Just got it yesterday and played with it for about 2 hours. Works great. Loaded the North American satellite list on it.
Blind scans DVB & DVB-S2 and will show HD feeds too. Will not show 4:2:2. Can hook up a hard drive to record programs
Has the new remote but the "v-format" button is partially removed (others have done this too). As some of know if you hit the v-format button it goes through PAL formats and can be a pain to get back to NTSC. Having the channel down button near it didnt help. You can still change format through the menus (its defaulted right now to 480i so it will work on any setup right now)
After buying it I ended up deciding that I can put the money to a better use so I'm selling it. Its pretty much brand new and comes with unit, remote, hdmi cable, a/v cable and manual.
I paid $149 for the unit and I'll let it go for $130 shipped in the US. Paypal preferred (please send as gift so no pesky fees) or money order
