I like the theater, but for action films. Oppenheimer doesn't require the big screen/sound treatment. Also curious and hopeful the history isn't played with too much.

Sadly there is some history that is conveniently left out. Theaters in New Mexico have a PSA before the movie to fill in the gap. I'm not sure if other states will be showing this.

Last movie I saw had 25-30 minutes of previews before it. My wife and I arrived 15 minutes late, but we still had to sit through lots of previews.

Oppenheimer being a 3 hour movie plus previews makes me want to wait for it to come out on Blu Ray!

But I want to see Mission Impossible in the theater

Thought it was the best drama I've seen in theaters since There Will Be Blood.

My wife and I just got back from Oppenheimer in the theater.

Both of us did not like it because of the way it skipped around back and forth in time so much. And we felt it was overly centered on politics. I would have been more interested in the science and was disappointed.

Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't even bother renting it on Blu ray.
