Options for DVR

I have a VIP 722 and a VIP 222. What is the best way to be able to record on the VIP 222 TV?

Only options at this point and probably forever due to it doesn't sound like dish will ever add the EHD software to the 222 would be a vcr or a dvd burner.

The VIP 222 is not a dvr and can't be converted like the 211/211K. Can you run the TV2 output of the 722 to the TV connected to the 222?

No Thomas cannot do that. HIFI, I was thinking that the 222 was not upgradable to record, but thought I might be behind times. Can't seem to keep up. Thanks

Upgrade to a 622/722/722K or possible a 612 if you don't need 2 outputs.
