Is there any way to order an adult channel for the evening without having it show up on the monthly statement or in the order history?

To be blunt, my wife does not care for these types of shows, but I do some times. She understands this but would rather not be reminded of it and I would rather she not know.

So is there any way to do this?

Thanks in advance

I don't think there's any way around this. I'd recommend renting DVDs under your own account.

I always love these threads. A husband trying to order porn without the wife knowing. Always a good laugh. :D

Or order it at your buddy's house and pay to him by cash :).
Sounds like porno prostitution... :D Anyway, why not pay cash for a few select DVDs and keep them locked away.

You could allways get an xtv box and the amount of channels vs the sub price is well worth it....
XTV Rules over Extasy...............................................

You know, I hate to turn the tides of the discussion, and we all get our adult programming from Dish Network to support them of course! But with the advent of the internet, I am really suprised that A LARGE sum of money can be made via adult programming via TV, though i suppose if your a 'husband' with a 'wife' who checks the computer, and the TV bill, you should walk down to your local newsstand !

I would suggest the paperless billing, as mentioned before, but you are better off getting the programming monthly.

There is a $10 feee to remove the service, but it is still cheaper to have them add it for one day, watch all the movies for the day, then have the service removed.

I know one person who called and had dish put on the account that they were not to discuss the billing with his wife, put a parental lock on channel 496, and used auto pay with paperless billing.

His wife just thought they did not have the channel because it was blocked and no PPV shows up in the PPV history.

in my opinion, if dish would come up with a simple way for people to order adult programming without the paper trail they would sell more adult programming. how hard would it be to take credit card orders over the net? they would not have to post it to the receiver or have it show on the bill. plus they would get their money up front.

To bad we married or soon to be married guys have to sneak around in the dark recess's of our basements late at night in the hopes that our significant others dont wake up to find us satiating our perverse hungers like some troll. hehe

I've never really heard of this Xtv. Can someone who has it give us a review ? Does it work well through a cable modem ? How is the programming ? Is it like the Playboy channel, Exctasy channel, etc. ?

Caller ID on 522 answering my phone?
