OTA adapter and Cable TV

Anyone know if the OTA adapter will work with cable TV that doesn't need a cable box or card? I'd like to run a line from my cable hub to the Hopper if it will.

Cable channels are different than air channels and if the adapter does not have the ability to switch from one to the other, some channels will come in but on the wrong channel number and others won't come in at all.

No, it is an ATSC tuner only. It will not tune analog or QAM signals.
