OTA-HD channels not being received

I live in the DFW area and as of yesterday morning, I have not been able to get the local channels in HD through the OTA antenna. I called DirecTV and they said something about a software update that prevents the OTA signal from passing through the STB. I have a H20 receiver and a 3-LNB dish. I have scheduled the (free) installation of the 5-LNB dish next Saturday.,which apparently will allow me to receive the local channels in HD.

Any thoughts on what I can do to watch FOX, CBS and NBC on HD in the meantime?

um the h20 has been able to do ota since it came out .Its the hr20 that initanily couldnt do ota but its been able to since i think december of 06 its possible your too far away to recieve there digital signal

If you haven't already, try a rest of the box and if that doesn't help try going through the off air antenna setup procedure again to see if that recovers it.
