Hello. I tried to search the forum and didn't see any replies on this but has anyone else had any problems with the H20 overheating. It didnt cause a problem with my reception or picture but it burnt out my dvd player and was hot enough to burn me. I called D* and they are sending me a replacement but has anyone else had a problem similar to this? Is it common or do I just have a bum receiver?

I would not stack anything on top of the H20. Infact, I have mine sitting on the very top of my component rack and it's warm all the time. Not hot enough to actually burn your hand.

The first H20 I had (before I returned it only to find out it most likely was a problem with the local station's OTA feed) was extremely hot. The second one I grabbed is much cooler.

Yeah, my first H20 was hot as hades. Like yourself hot enough to burn me as well, this I believe was the problems that I was having with my constant rebooting and freezing of the unit itself. I was sent another unit and replaced the old in the same spot, inside a media tower with the H20 on the top. The next day it was acting up and was hot again, this time I moved it completely out of the media tower and placed it on the glass shelves under the tv unit itself and so far "knock on wood" the unit has been doing fine.
