teachsac, what type of tv are you running and what type of resolution are you outputting?

Reason I ask is that Ive seen people comment on the 720p being soft and recommend 1080i. Im sending 720p to a 720ptv and it looks great.

My BD30 is hooked up, right now, to a JVC DLA-HD1 projector outputting 1080p/24 with correct handling at 96Hz refresh rate.

My BD10 is hooked up to a Mitsubishi 65831 at 1080p/60.

Ah, so you are already on the 1080p wagon.

I posted some TV question in the other forum here, if you have any input please offer it.

Thanks

Last time I saw Blue Man live, it was at GMU. They were good, but frankly it just wasn't as good as I've seen before. Not sure I'd pay to see them again.

Does anyone think it's something that would translate well to Blu-ray? Stage is so busy, a large screen would be a MUST.

Heard yuma was great, Ive had the BD sitting here for a week waiting on my wife to get back in town :(

Setup was a snap on the 30. Yuma is a great movie period. It's also a good introduction to a new unit. I haven't A-B 'ed anything yet. Maybe this weekend.

It's been a while since I had something new right out of the box. I love the smell of new electronics. Love it.
