All these threads concerning different satellite receivers and the various pluses and minuses of each including the now unmentionable clone, made me do a serious inventory of the two cabinets I use to store (hoard?) the many receivers over the last ten years.

I found something interesting for myself in the process. I've still got my first satellite receiver; a Pansat 2500A with Skew Control. I believe it was 2006. What a great little receiver. DVB-S only of course. Works fine still today.

I have had more than ten personal receivers in the last ten years. I have only sold one of them, not counting the ones I sold through a business.

There Is only one receiver that stands out from the crowd in my personal history; the MicroHD. Bring that receiver back and I will buy.
