im really new to this so plz help me if u can. i tried reading other post but they were just to confusing. i just wanted to know what satallite am i able to scan channels from if i have a pansat 2500a reciever and an 18in directv winegard dish:confused:. right now, i only have channels from satallite echo 6 and i do not know how to get channels from the other satallite. if u could tell me what i need to do in order to pick up other channels from other satillite, that would really be helpful. what im really trying to do is get the channel called G4TV. maybe i have to reposition the dish:confused:?

Hello and welcome to SatelliteGuys.US, G4TV is a pay channel and you will not be able to get it FTA with your small dish, see below for some help with what you can get with your system.
135.0 West AMC-10

It does seem to be FTA with a C-band system (135.0 West AMC-10) but that would mean a very large dish.

What channels do you get on E6 right now, there are a few FTA?

i really appreciate you responding to my question. if its no bother, could u tell me what i need to get in order to get G4TV and how much it would cost:confused:? also, what would i need in order to recieve international channels:confused:?

To get the international channels from IA-5 (where most are) you will need a bigger dish around 30" or even a 90cm, you will also need a KU LNBF, come over to the FTA area and read as much as you can, there are loads of FTA channels that you will be able to get with a bigger dish and LNBF.
