Hi guys and Gals,
This is my first post.
Does anyone know if the Pansat 3500SD has a fuse or circuit breaker.
My unit stopped working after a coax wire came loose and I can turn it on but don'r get anything on my TV. It will not scan or even go to the first screen.
The Unit was working fine until I decided to re-align the dish to clear up my signal.
Thanks for any help,

Try resetting the unit first...

(1) They may have a way to reset the unit in the manual. Try that first.

(2) Pull the plug, wait a few hours, plug back in and try.

(3) Is there any lit-up display on the unit?

(4) Disconnect sat cable on the back, measure for 13V/18V on the SAT connector.

if he pulls the plug, he can wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. I always thought these boxes had a fuse in them

Or maybe he blew the power supply?

LasrryH did you happen to recently update the software on your receiver?

Pulling the plug...

I was being conservative.

I suggested for a longer time as some consumer products have a backup capacitor on the microprocessor.

In such a case several hours will almost always give a clean reset.

I know this may sound dumb, but make sure the rear switch is not in the OFF side.

Thought I would mention that. :)
