PBS Sound but no picture

On AMC 3 there are several PBS stations listed as FTA, I can program them in and I get decent signal, perfect picture but no sound - am I doing anything wrong? Iceberg you are the PBS expert! Help!

As you may have read, all those PBS offerings are AC3/digital audio only and you will need to have a digital audio output on your receiver. This will not output via standard RCA jacks. Its also nice if your A/V head unit has auto audio selection that way you never have to change anything or press any buttons when you change encoding types.
