I would be interested in the pq of several MPEG4 sd channels that are now on 61.5. I am on 129 for now (my local hd and sd have been uplinked to 61.5 but not made available as of now). Some of the MPEG4 sd channels on 61.5 are ESPN, CNN, ESPN CL., The Weather Channel and several others.

Just wondering if it looks just as compressed as the MPEG2?? I believe that Dish was testing around 30 MPEG4 sd per transponder. If the pq is the same as MPEG2sd then they are doing this JUST to open more space. If it is better (and that is what we all want) how come no one has noticed any difference???

I was thinking like if you want NatGeo you would need to subscribe to AT250. Couldn't they show these MPEG4 channels as available then create a new programing package for them?

So they would be a available but you could not subscribe to them.
