Could not find the "dish farm" area. So if someone wants to move this fine.
Just planted 3 new poles today. 85 deg in the shade today but it was the first day I had to get it done.
Put a 9' 3.5" pole in for c band with 5 ' above ground and 2 7' 2 3/8" for my 1.2 m
with 4' above ground. That should keep them out of the snow and below the frost line. I found 120 ft of c band ribbon cable in the pole barn and ordered a Sadoun g3000 mover. Now when the cement sets up I can begin the job of moving the dishes and setting up the c band.

You're on your way. Hope those smaller dishes don't end up looking at the back of your c-band, looks like they're behind the big pole.
edit: Must've been the way you were standing with camera, lol.

the first picture is the best way to visualize the layout. They are in a east west line with the c band slightly more south of the 2 smaller ones. There is 7 feet between the 2 smaller ones and about 10 between the c band and the closest 1.2m. Thanks for taking a look. Ill be adding more pictures as it grows.

Yeah I didn't think you'd really do that, so much sweat ran into my eyes working out in the heat today I wasn't really seeing the picture lol.

I put a old 42"x46" (I dont know what that makes it) dish I had behind the pole barn I used for 97 radio on the first pole today. Took all the gear down to set it up and had 123 shortly and moved it over to 129 and left it there. I figure I will try to get both birds with the one dish as soon as I order some more dual lnbs. I had to use a single polarity commercial lnb on the dish as I had no others available. I plan on ordering 6 if I am to complete what I want to do. And also I am waiting on 2 more 6x8 zinwells I bought on a ebay deal...bad deal real slow shipper. Near a month ago I won the auction. Any way I was real sad about 129 after I got it set up. I got it in at 79* out at the pole. I thought that was a bit low but considering using a not fitting proper lnb and not being able to skew proper or knowing how much output 129 will give me at my location I thought 79 might be it. When I made up a coax to run from the dish to the 1 zinwell I have for bringing everything in. I went in a could not get White Springs. Finally got it in at 28 percent Q. I thought what a coax loss. Now I find it is bouncing between 28 and 90 some. Maybe their weather is not so good on the uplink or Maybe when I get the new lnbs that will change. I hope. So much for now.
Any one ever seen a dish like this one?

Haven't seen one quite like that before, looks ok, could use some paint! Maybe a newer lnb will fix it up. I been watching WhiteSprings most of the afternoon, and it's putting out plenty of power.

Yes needs paint, the birds been using it for a bathroom. And need lnbs (2) hope to use it to get both 123 and 129. I swung it back to 123 before I came in and checked what all I could get on a single polarity lnb. Also it is a little bent up around the rim at top but only the flange the dish does not seem to be distorted. I think if I can come up with the right size steel tube I could weld it to the other tube and motorize this one without too much problem. It not all that heavy of a dish with the bracket on it.
The elevation adjustment is 2 bolts through the frame up at the top of the V arms.
I think the reason I had trouble with 129 is setting the skew. Now that I know where both 123 and 129 are at I can set it in the middle and build a bracket to hold a lnb for both. But I have to order lnbfs. I found small dual .02bd at Galaxy-marketing for 17 bucks each if I buy my needed 6 of them. Spent too much last week with the gbox and 3 poles so have to wait.

C band dish and mover

I got the c band up yesterday. These pictures are of the closest sat to due south.
Do you think that my movers are is too far out and should be adjusted so I can go farther east? This is a 7.5ft mesh with Von Wiese mover using a Gbox I have not totally figured out yet, with a dual c feedhorn. More questions to come on the switch configuration as I want to be able to use this dish on more than one receiver using zinwell 6x8 and 1x4 switches or what ever I need to make this work.
I also plan on adding a dual ku lnbf on the side of the feedhorn or drilling a hole in through the scalar. Also have a question on the operation of the gbox I have hooked up to it on the forum that I need some answers to. thanks in advance.
