Poor HD Video Today - 2010-07-11

I'm seeing terrible HD video performance today. One "frame" every 1 to 3 seconds... happening on all my HD channels.

In Santa Fe, NM using a 722 receiver with an OK signal strength. Check Switch didn't change this behavior.

Try unplugging the receiver for a few seconds and then plug it back in.

Reboot often fixes things. Keep that in your knowledge base.

I used to think that the tech instruction to reboot was a copout, but it now seems to be a cure-all! So I guess it's safe to say that most of Dish's reception problems are receiver related...
