Poor Picture Quality for some reason

I have a 4:3 HD 53" tv. Picture has always been great but the last two weeks I can only watch set to 1080i. If I set it to 480 or 720 to watch SD channels I get several vertical wave patches every 10" across the screen. My DVD picture looks perfect. I tried the same input that I use for my DVD player no change and I used my same cable that I use for my DVD with no change. Any suggections ? Receiver ?

Can you post a picture of your picture? It sounds like interference of some kind.
