possible to access menu without card

is it possible to access the menu of an Echostar 2700 receiver with a card or remote? I get an error " insert access card ". Is there a way around this?
I'm looking to to use this receiver for setting up the 110 and 119 sats.

The only solution I know of is call DISH and buy a card it's about $50. Of course a receiver with mated card is about the same.
