I'm new here, well technically only here to get my questions answered as DISH hasn't really been able to.

I put in an order for DISH on Tuesday. I got through all of the steps online just fine, and the screen popped up with my order number and saying that I will recieve an email with my account number and all of the installation information within 24 hours. Okay, so I wait. And I wait somemore figuring that if there were any sort of problems, they would have called.

Still no email. So, I get on the webchat and talk to a woman who says that she forwarded my concerns to an order specialist and that I would recieve a call within a few minutes.

That didn't happen so I emailed. Two hours later, it seems that someone did call and left a voicemail. According to the voicemail, my order is being put on hold and that I have to call in to get the order completed.

Now, why would they wait so long to notify me?

Secondly, why would they put my application on hold?

Thanks for any answers you can give.

Dish Builder is automated and may be instant, but csr's may be backed up and cannot act on all notifications at the same instant. They may also try to resolve the problem or at least check on all the options available for making the call. Only way to find out why the account is on hold is to call them.
