PPV & Dish Pause

After several months of wavering, I finally put my Dish account on pause earlier this week.

Does anyone know if it is possible to order and watch PPV events while the account is on hold? Has anyone ever tried it?

Hello, CubsWin. As the PPV and On Demand requires authorization for the order to go through, they are not available while an account is on Pause. You will still be able to access your DVR content as well as the apps like Youtube and Netflix.

I just tried it and it worked. My previously subscribed channels are all gone, but I ordered a PPV movie for $5.99 on the MyDish app and then I was able to tune to the channel on my Hopper and watch it.
