PPV over satellite?

Did I miss the memo or something? Is all Dish PPV 'On Demand' now? I've been getting PPV over satellite for many years but now the guide on my Hopper 3 shows them all to be 'On Demand', which is over the internet, as I understand it. Customer Service sounded as confused as I was.
