Anybody noticed that the PPV (pay-per-view) movies are now copyright protected?
In the past I could record a PPV movie to my Tivo then re-record it to a DVD using my external RCA drc-8295 DVD recorder to "save space" in my Tivo drive. Now when I attempt to copy a title to disk my DVD recorder pops up "warning content is copyrighted" screen & will not let me proceed.
Of coarse I never re-distribute the recorded DVD's to my friends & family, just like to have a hard copy of the merchandise I have purchased.
Anyone found a way round this?
