I have just noticed this recently on my 622, but I don't know if it is a new issue or something that has always existed. When programs have very long names, they are being truncated in the program guide way sooner than necessary. For example, "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer" just shows up as "Fantastic Four: ...". It's usually not a big deal, but can occasionally be an annoyance if I can't tell specifically which episode or movie the title is referring to. Is this problem on E*'s end, or is it caused by the info that is being fed to them?

About a first of the year change.

The issue is coming from Tribune Media Services. I know it has been really annoying with a few of the movies and shows, but not all.

I think I will try to send them an e-mail to let them know of my frustration.

If it's coming from Tribune Media Services, then why do the listings on http://www.tvlistings.com include the full name? Also, my SageTV listings, which are also provided by Tribune Media Services are fine too.

Now, perhaps Dish requested that Tribune truncate the show names, but it's certainly not in the Tribune data everywhere.
