Prime Time Anytime

I live in the New York area. I do not have line of sight to 61.5. I am only able to get my local channels in SD.

Is there any way to get Prime Time Anytime with SD channels?

I think there are some markets where that is possible. Ask DIRT.

In most cases, PTAT will only be available on HD local stations. In areas where HD locals are not available, we will usually put it on SD. There are some exceptions and areas where neither SD or HD is available for PTAT. For the New York area, only HD PTAT channels are available. As of right now, no areas offer both HD and SD PTAT options.

Because of the small (tiny 2 TB) Hard drives in my HWS i prefer to record in SD.
it sure would be nice if we could get PTAT in SD. Leaving on a trip tomorrow and I have to find room on one of my 2 TB EHDs to offload some room.

But with 4TB drives all over the place 2TB seems small. Especially when a chunk of the drive is reserved for Dish's use.

I can store 100 hours of HD on that drive. If I need more, that's why I have ehds....

You're right about the EHDs, but you have to manually move things there. If I go on a two week vacation then my internal drive would be full and recordings would start being deleted. A nice option would be to be able to record a series directly to the EHD.
