primetime anytime not recording

I have had primetime anytime selected and in use for several years on 1 of 2 HWS in the house.

last evening i noticed that the red light is on indicating primetime is recording, but nothing shows up in the PTA library.

A hard reset, yields a red recording light as if PTA is once again recording - but nothing is being saved to the PTA library.

i am able to navigate to the active PTA tuner and join in progress and or rewind to the beginning. but again nothing shows up in the PTA library after an event has been completed..

any ideas??
