Problem on BEV Channel 840-TMN-HD

Is anyone else having a problem on channel 840?
I'm getting five vertical bands (they look like zippers) and it's been like this
for 4 or 5 days.
I called tech support - we tried a few things, such as removing the card,
unplugging the power cord etc. but nothing worked.
He suggested that the problem might be from the source, and to wait
a few days to see if it would correct itself. If it doesn't I'm to call him back.
I'm a bit sceptical that it is a problem at the source and it really is my
receiver that is defective. And I don't want to replace it, if I don't have to
before Bell comes out with new mpeg4 models.

Any thoughts?
