i can home from work to watch some tv and found that I couldn't receive any channels. The error on screen is:

A problem has been detected with your multi-dish switch.

When I run through the the help available, I eventually get to the switch check screen. It doesn't find any of the satellites and I get the following message:

You have an error with your multidish table. Please run a checkswitch.

is there anyone out there that can help me with this issue.

Please and thanks,
Onkyo

could be any number of things... lnb died, dish out of line, bad connection, bad wire, ect.

You have to do some troubleshooting.
Here is a couple questions to try to help find the problem.

What model receiver is it?
Which model dish? Dish 500? 300? 1000? ect
Any idea what lnb you have?
Do you have any other recievers connected to the same dish?
