Problems with 625 after lightning storm

After a lightning storm today my 625 controls and menus are extremely slow and I have very choppy playback on recorded programs. Live tv seems fine. Also the reciever is causing my phone line to be busy all the time. I tried a hard and soft reboot and did a check switch test. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Also this is a leased receiver will E* replace for free or do I have to pay?
