Problems with Dish HD feed!

Hello, my name is Joe and I am new to these forums and hope someone will be able to help me with my problem. I recently got Dish Network on my Toshiba 47" Regza HDTV. The vip722 box is hooked up to the TV with an HDMI cable, but the picture only comes out at 480p, and I paid to get 1080p! The technician really wasn't any help, could anyone tell me what is going wrong?

Dish receivers won't do 1080p, to set it to 1080i press menu, system setup then HDTV setup. TV Type should then be set to 1080i then press Done.

You have to go into menu then hit 6 and then 8. After that set the resolution to 1080i and choose the screen format, whichever is best for you. Unless Ive missed something none of them do 1080p, just 1080i. Hope I helped
