problems with PBS HD on Gal 14

I'm having problems with PBS HD on Galaxy 14 (AMC 21). I get sound but no picture and the signal quality is is good. I have a Fortec Mercury II receiver and it's connected to a HD TV with component cables. Audio is optical connected to an amplifier to decode AC3. I get Montana PBS, PBS World and Create but no picture with the HD PBS 1,2 or 3. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

The Merc II cannot decode HD picture and you might get a green screen or just a black screen. You need a HD receiver to get the HD channels

Merc II is SD only

Any suggestions on a good not too expensive FTA HD receiver?

If you shop on ebay, you might try looking for Coolsat 8000/8100, but try not to pay over $100 . I see there's a cs8100 currently being bid on.

Signal quality on this bird has dropped over the past couple of days also for me. It used to come in strong at about 80%, but now i get it at about 55%

I have a slow computer at home and they dance more normal speed.
