Program Guide Corruption -How to reset?

I have the Dish 322 reciever (3 of them) on a superdish. Earlier today when I tried to goto CNN (200) I got the "satellite aquisition in progress" error message. It hung on try #2, so I turned off the unit, but couldnt get rid of it. I turned it on again, but it was still trying to aquire the signal, and since you cant change the channel once that screen appears, I had to turn it off again, back on and quickly change it to a working channel before that error appears.

AFter that all the channels work fine, but the program guide is screwy, incorrect showtimes and titles. How do I reset or FORCE it to download a program guide? Thanks!

You can disconnect it for a few days and then the guide will have to download a whole new set of data when you re-plug it in.

you can do either a soft reset or a hard reset
soft-press the power button the unit and hold until light goes off, release and let it cycle through

hard-unplug unit for 30 seconds, replug back in
