Did anyone else have Fox stop recording at 10:30 for tonight during PTAT???

I know the other channels are recording to 11pm

I am sure this has happened before I just have never paid that much attention I guess

Is everyone else experiencing the same thing???

Thanks in advance

Here, under EDT, Fox usually only records for two hours (their actual prime time), even though the upcoming guide will show that it is going to record three hours. Occasionally, (this past Friday) it will record all three hours, but not the norm here.

I had this happen as well, This is incredibly annoying for the recording to end with 20 laps to go. I have had other sporting events end early as well. What are the options to extend these recordings? Dish, for sporing events it would be great if they auto extended 60 minutes?

Maybe its different with the Hopper and PTAT, but on regular Dish dvrs, sporting events are auto extended 60 mins. If you had set a regular timer for the Race instead of PTAT, perhaps it would have auto extended it?

My PTAT enabled Hopper had 2 recordings last night on Fox (29 Philly). The race recorded from 6 to 10:30 and then the news from 10:30 to 11. Of course the race ran over and only a minute or 2 of news actually did record.

I don't know what happened in your area, but here in the St Louis area (CST), I had two PTAT recordings for Fox last nite. The first one NASCAR Race recorded the entire race and about 30 minutes of the next program which was the local Fox news. The second recording Fox News recorded the last 20 laps of the race and then 30 minutes of the local Fox news.

The way I get around the weekend PTAT programs that run over is with a manual timer that starts at 10 PM (CST) for CBS. CBS sports seem to always run over so if they do for that day the manual timer will catch it. I don't worry about Fox because the local Fox news always comes on at 9 PM (CST) so it would catch the overage if it happens. Dish seems to be getting better and better at working in the weekend PTAT programs when the day time programs run over. Don't know how they do it but they get it done sometimes.

Charlotte locals...I usually get 10-11pm on fox recorded during the week. ..that is why I asked

Well, I was earlier told I was lucky for not having 10-11 recorded, which works for me...no local news. So, up to you if bad or good in your case, if this happens M-F.

Forgot to look for a follow on event. usually do but was thinking it was last event of the night, There was the rest of the race under fox news.

Will Dish ship an additional Joey or....

Need help with Hopper with Sling installation
