Pull the plug reset with 401

Be prepared for quite a wait if you reboot using the pull the power plug. Mine went through satellite 110 with many transponders, then whet to 119 doing most of the transponders and now is on 129 doing the same thing. So far 20 minutes.
Will be interesting to see if it did anyting different.

20 minutes?!?

That's insane! If after 5 minutes it's still doing the satellite acquisition (1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc), I would sorely be tempted to do another checkswitch to see if there are any problems with the LNB(s) or system.

Webbydude is right. Your receiver is not seeing the switch or LNBs. Do a check switch.

Yeah, I have never seen it take that long.

I hadn;t either. As the receiver was searching on its second time I held in the power button and had it do a reset that way and presto it went into the old style check and was back on in a couple of minutes.
Did the 401 software cause a different pull the plug reset than just holding the on off button in?
